Better by the Day...

Jason's surgery was a success. He did very well. He loved playing with the cars and wagons and toys at Children's South while waiting. He also loved playing with the Woody doll of another patient.... So, we decided to get him one as a prize for doing so well at the hospital. He went with one of my co-workers in to the operating room without even looking back... She told me he spoke to all of the staff in the room and told them his name and pushed buttons and even put on his own monitoring stickers... my little man. I am so proud of him.

As for the operation itself, he did fine. He has a possible problem with the right tube because part of his eardrum has discentegrated and the tube may not stay. He may have to have a patch placed if the hole doesn't heal. So, we pray for complete restoration of that ear... so far it is fine.

He has been grumpy at times, but seems, overall, to be doing well. He LOVES his Woody doll and carries Woody and Buzz EVERYWHERE. Sara Kate has been right there by his side and is helping his recovery. Thanks for all the prayers!
